Vista chamber hosts first-ever Hispanic Heritage event
Vista’s Fiestas Patrias showcases vendors, traditional foods, handcrafted goods and much more in the inaugural event
On Sunday, the Vista Chamber of Commerce is set to host its inaugural Hispanic heritage celebration, Vista’s Fiestas Patrias. The event, which will take place in the heart of Vista, promises to be a vibrant and culturally enriching experience for the community, featuring a traditional “Grito” from the Mexican Consulate, a proclamation from the city of Vista, and an address from Assemblywoman Laurie Davies.
In addition to these formalities, attendees will enjoy a day filled with music, dance, games, and a variety of vendors that reflect the rich tapestry of Hispanic culture.
A community-wide celebration
Vista’s Fiestas Patrias is not just another community event; it's a significant milestone for the city and its residents. As the chief executive officer of the Vista Chamber of Commerce, I am proud to see this celebration come to fruition, as it represents much more than a day of festivities. This event marks the chamber’s commitment to fostering inclusivity, promoting cultural awareness, and supporting the diverse businesses that make up our community.
