CARLSBAD — Entrepreneurs from all walks of life will participate in the annual San Diego Startup Week to showcase their businesses, network, seek talent and much more.

The annual weeklong event is ramping up, again, after a two-year slow-down period due to the pandemic. Startup Week kicks off on Monday in Carlsbad at New Village Arts, 2787 State St.

Monday’s theme is “Celebrating the Creative Coast” where the program features expo booths, mentoring (at Pure Project across the street), building an ecosystem and brand and keynote speaker Joe Kudla, the founder of Vuori, to name a few.

Matt Sanford, the economic development director for the City of Carlsbad, said the weeks’ worth of events also connects startups with funders, founders, resource providers and other entrepreneurs, to name a few.

Monday’s event runs from 2-8 p.m., although registration opens at 1 p.m., while the other four days will be in Tijuana and San Diego. Tickets can be found here.
