From career exploration for youth to training support for manufacturers, the Chamber is building a resilient, local talent pipeline via SOCAL Workforce, Rising Stars, ETP training

At the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, workforce development is not just a priority — it is a cornerstone of our mission. As our region continues to evolve, so do the needs of our local employers.

That’s why the Chamber has made strategic investments in programs that address both immediate workforce gaps and long-term career readiness. Through intentional collaboration, innovative programs, and strong partnerships with education, government, and industry, we are focused on creating a workforce that can meet the demands of today’s economy and adapt to tomorrow’s challenges.

One of our flagship initiatives is SOCAL Workforce, a regional career awareness campaign developed through a partnership among the Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, San Marcos and Encinitas chambers of commerce, along with the San Diego North Economic Development Council. The program introduces students and young adults to a wide range of high-demand, high-wage career pathways available right here in North County.
