Encinitas' Oktoberfest is a must
The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce's 28th annual Oktoberfest celebrates growth, community and German culture at one of North County's biggest events of the year

As the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce gears up for the 28th annual Encinitas Oktoberfest on Sept. 29, I find myself reflecting on how this free community event and artisan faire has not only grown in size and popularity but also in its ability to bring our community together and support local businesses.
This year’s Oktoberfest promises to be our biggest and best yet, and I couldn’t be more excited to share why this event is so important to our city.
Over the past 28 years, the Encinitas Oktoberfest has evolved into one of the most anticipated events on our city’s calendar. What started as a modest event celebrating the area’s German roots and culture has now become a regional attraction, drawing more than 15,000 visitors from all over Southern California.
This growth is a testament to the hard work of our chamber members, volunteers, and local businesses who have helped shape Oktoberfest into what it is today.
