Chamber Chat: A berry sweet celebration of community and culture
From sweet treats to local talent and a kids carnival, the Vista Strawberry Festival celebrates community, small businesses, and Vista's berry-loving roots.
Vista was once known as the “Strawberry Capital of the World,” and while the fields may have made way for homes and businesses, that legacy is honored every year.
There’s also something magical about strawberries in the sun, and nowhere is that magic more alive than at the annual Vista Strawberry Festival, happening on May 25, in historic downtown Vista. Organized by the Vista Chamber of Commerce, with support from the city of Vista and Vista Unified School District, this beloved event is more than a festival, it’s a full-blown celebration of community, creativity and connection.
Each year, the festival attracts more than 80,000 attendees who come to enjoy the sweet flavors, vibrant sights and joyful energy of Vista’s signature event. With strawberry-themed everything, live music, family fun and hundreds of local vendors, it’s easy to see why this has become North County’s favorite way to kick off summer.
