Chamber Chat: San Marcos FORWARD showcases city's future

For many years, the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce hosted the State of the City luncheon. On June 10 at 7:15 a.m. the chamber is excited to offer a new event, San Marcos FORWARD.

This high-profile breakfast event brings together civic leaders, business professionals and key stakeholders to highlight progress, showcase innovation and celebrate partnerships driving San Marcos forward.

The program features remarks from San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones, live business spotlights and dynamic updates from leaders in development, healthcare, education and innovation. It’s a powerful platform to showcase momentum and vision, shaping the future of our city.

San Marcos is experiencing tremendous growth with new developments, hospitals and businesses. This new event will highlight some of these new and exciting initiatives, while also celebrating the past.

“We’re not just reflecting on where we’ve been, we’re setting the stage for where we’re headed,” said San Marcos Chamber Events Director Melanie Jamil. “San Marcos FORWARD is a glimpse into the future of our city.”
