Oceanside is gearing up for its annual Armed Forces Day Operation Appreciation, a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring and celebrating our military’s brave men and women. Launched by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce in 2002, this special day brings together the local community to show gratitude for the sacrifices made by active-duty service members and their families.

Operation Appreciation, which takes place at the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheater on May 17, is a full-day event filled with festivities designed to recognize the invaluable contributions of the military. From live entertainment to family-friendly activities, the event provides a welcoming atmosphere where service members can relax, connect, and enjoy the day.
