SDNEDC’s “First Mondays with the Mayors” showcases city-specific growth strategies and regional collaboration to strengthen North County’s economy

One of the most impactful ways the San Diego North Economic Development Council (SDNEDC) supports economic growth and prosperity in North County is through collaboration with each city in our region. By brainstorming ideas, providing critical economic research, and amplifying local efforts across our extensive networks, we aim to maximize each city's initiatives.

A standout project this year is our “First Mondays with the Mayors” segment on KUSI News, airing every Monday during the 9 o’clock hour. Each week, North County mayors discuss their city’s economic victories and strategies behind their successes.
