Chamber chat: A Voice for diversity and inclusion
The Vista Chamber of Commerce's Latino Business Outreach Committee fosters opportunities for entrepreneurs
VISTA — The Vista Chamber of Commerce has long been a champion for local businesses, but in recent years, its commitment to diversity and inclusion has taken center stage.
Leading this effort is the chamber’s Latino Business Outreach Committee, a group dedicated to fostering opportunities for Latino entrepreneurs and strengthening the region’s cultural and economic fabric.
Established to address the unique challenges faced by Latino business owners, the committee acts as a bridge between the chamber and the vibrant Latino community in Vista. By offering bilingual resources and networking opportunities, the committee aims to create a supportive environment where all entrepreneurs can thrive.
“Latino-owned businesses are a vital part of our local economy and community,” said Rachel Beld, chief executive officer of the Vista Chamber of Commerce. “Our Latino Business Outreach Committee is about more than just economic development; it’s about ensuring everyone has a seat at the table and a voice in shaping our shared future.”
